The exhibition ‘Project Oneness’ extends The Prism’s exploration of perception and interconnectedness into an immersive, multi-room experience. Visitors navigate a structured sequence of spaces, each designed to challenge and expand their understanding of form, light and symbolic meaning.
In the exhibition space, the journey unfolds across three rooms, interconnected by doors that replicate the concept of the artworks inside them. The portals in the first room express the concept of duality and feature a red line at the centre: the red line serves as a symbolic representation of the mental constructs that divide reality into binary categories – such as good/bad or true/false. Rooted in philosophical and art historical explorations of perception, this line embodies the ‘veil’ of rationality that separates the viewer from a deeper, unified understanding of existence. By transcending this symbolic boundary, the viewer is invited to move beyond dualistic thinking, accessing a heightened awareness of their interconnectedness with the universe.
By crossing through a round door marked with a red-light line, one enters the second room, where the dividing line disappears, allowing the viewer to experience a space where colour, form and movement unfold without imposed separations. The visitor has now surpassed duality and gained awareness of their unity with the universe, leading to the realization that we are the One and the One is us.
Passing through a blue door, visitors enter the third room and encounter four works representing the essential elements – water, earth, air and fire. These compositions reflect the balance of natural forces and culminate in a circular window opening to the sky, reinforcing the integration of the viewer into the surrounding space.
This process guides the visitor towards the awareness of being One – a unity with the universe.
